Complete Systems
Whystler Automation’s robotic solutions combine high-precision grippers and intelligent camera technology to perform different tasks quickly and seamlessly in a single process. This significantly reduces throughput times and increases efficiency. For particularly demanding processes, Whystler Automation relies on modularly interchangeable tools that can be flexibly adapted to specific requirements.
Custom-made products or special solutions are standard for us. We develop individual automation concepts that are precisely tailored to the properties of your products. Companies from a wide range of industrial sectors, especially the food industry, rely on our innovative solutions and extensive experience.
Collaborative and mobile robots
Collaborative and mobile robots are versatile helpers in the automation of production. The cobots from Whystler Automation work directly with your employees and relieve them of monotonous or physically demanding tasks. This will noticeably increase the efficiency of your production processes. The autonomous mobile robots from Whystler are able to move independently through your production hall. They take care of both machine loading and end-of-line packaging solutions, thus ensuring a smooth flow of materials by reliably transporting load carriers, raw materials or finished products to their destination.
The integrated sensors in the Whystler Automation system ensure the highest level of safety. They detect obstacles in the environment and automatically switch off in the event of potential sources of danger in order to protect your employees in the best possible way.
Flexible gripper technology
Whether picking individual items or automated loading and unloading of pallets, the flexible robots from Whystler Automation with state-of-the-art gripping technology reliably detect every object – from cartons and crates to drums and sacks. In doing so, they always grip the optimal point in order to handle the products gently and place them precisely (pick & place). Our intelligent systems handle different goods on different load carriers effortlessly.
Use Case: Automated Production for Dental Implants
Industry: Medical technology

Objectives and Challenge:
The aim is to increase efficiency and quantities in the production of medical technology components through automation. A particular challenge is that each implant is an individual individual part (time required, shape, etc.) and therefore an individual process is necessary.
The result of the multi-stage planning and project planning is the use of a transfer system with an autonomous mobile platform (AGV) and a collaborative robot cobot (HRC), which takes over the material transport as well as the loading and unloading of the milling station.
About the plant – key features and functions:
The planned plant can be summarised under the motto “Modular – Flexible”.
- High system availability & low downtimes for a reliable delivery promise
- Parallel work of automation and employees to make production more flexible at peak times and during maintenance
- Flexible, modular plant structure with networked milling centers and stations
- Efficient automation through a mobile autonomous platform with cobot
- 75% increase in machine running times due to greater self-sufficiency
- Expansion of production capacities through more efficient processes
- Relieving employees by automating routine activities
The project planning of the plant leads to an expansion of automation knowledge and acts as a pilot project for other industries.

Customer
By working closely with the customer on process design, they were able to rethink their production and finda tailor-made, optimized solution. The combination of AGV and articulated arm robot enables the customer to flexibly expand the degree of automation within the existing infrastructure. At the same time, manual operation remains possible, which meets the demand for maximum adaptability.
